Algarve Beaches
The Algarve has numerous beaches to choose from,
some are more central to holiday resort complexes
and hotels but usually a stroll away you will
find a quieter and less crowded beach. I believe
over 20 of the beaches have the blue flag award
for their cleanness and general quality and the
majority are of a very high standard both in terms
of safety.
The south coast beaches are the most popular with
bathers and swimmers, due to its gentler sloping
sea shore. And has become more touristy than the
west coasts where the shore line and beaches are
more rocky and cliff based.
Algarve Airport and Transport
If you have decided to book your holiday to the
Algarve, you are most likely to fly into the international
airport of Faro, right down on the southern coast
of Portugal. Fargo is a great city for museums
and famous for its city walls and known as the
gate way to the Algarve.
Algarve Weather and Climate
Of course if you are seriously considering a
holiday to the Algarve this year, you will hoping
for a dry week or fortnight. One of the biggest
factors that can make of break a lovely holiday
is the weather and is one of the main reasons
why more and more Britons are holidaying abroad
each year. Tourists want to be guaranteed clear
blue hot sunny days, well of course this isn’t
possible but the Algarve has got the reputation
of receiving 300 days of sunshine!
The summer is exceptionally hot and can reach
high temperatures up to the thirties. Even the
winter average temperature is quite high, usually
around 17 Celsius. The hottest month to book would
be July and August
