If nature is what you are looking for on your break then Panama delivers with three National Parks. From the centre of Panama City you can be immersed into rain forest within 10 minutes. The rain forests boast a rich variety of fauna and flora. The Darien National Park contains more than 10 thousand species of birds accommodating its canapé’s and tree tops. There’s also the rain forest of Baru Vocano National Park and the Park le Amistad to ramble through.

Holiday in Panama City, Panamas very cosmopolitan capital that stretches along the beautiful Pacific coast. The best way to explore the city is to take a city tour. Visit the magic and wonderfully world famous Panama Canal. A wonder of engineering, the canal water way stretches amazing 80 kilometres from the capital all the way to the Atlantic coast side to Colon. The canal was built over a span of 10 years by the United States between the years of 1904 – 1914. It was built so that vessels could cross from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean. Ships are specially built in accordance to fit the three sets of locks along the canal. The best way to view the canal and see the locks in action is at the Miraflores Locks. Along with a viewing deck there is the Miraflores Lock Museum which contains the fanatasting history of the canal. Admission is reasonable at only ten dollars.

Panamas Airport operates direct flights from all of the major airports in South and North America. Flight time from Miami is only two hours. Which make Panama an ideal destination for a short week end break holiday.

Holiday Night Life in Panama

In terms of night life and going out the Panamanians definitely know how to party. On offer there are casinos, night clubs and discos to wind the night away. Definitely something g for every one is offered. The restaurants scene is said to be one of the best with traditional Panamanian foods available.

The weather in Panama is fantastic. Temperatures you can expect to enjoy will range in the 25 – 30 Celsius. That’s 80 – 90 Fahrenheit! Due to its location situated south of the hurricane track, Panama is generally not affected by some of the tropical storms that cause so much destruction to the United States.
