Budapest Holidays
Budapest is the capital of the republic
of Hungary. Located on the River of Danube,
which actually cuts through the city and creates
the opportunity for river strolls. Budapest is
kind of spilt into two. On the one side you have
the colourful green hills of Buda and the other
side is the more hectic bustling streets of Pest
where the land is flatter.
During your Budapest holiday
there are lots of bars and watering holes for
you to wind down after your day of exploring.
Budapest definitely has enough amazing attractions
to entertain its tourists the whole year round.
Hungarians enjoy partying till sunrise in old
court yards that form open air clubs. The Hungarian
hospitality is second to none so you will be welcomed
with wide arms into the festivities. The language
is Hungarian but both German and English are widely
understood.

Plan your Holiday to Budapest
In terms of climate on your Hungary holiday,
expect Budapest to deliver mild winters and moderate
summers. So really a continental climate, although
the winter months can be extremely cold with snow
fall.
Budapest‘s cuisine and
in fact all of the countries have been influences
from many other countries. Traditional Hungarian
meals would suit those that like a full and hearty
fill. Traditional dishes such as veal paprika
stew and Eel Stew can still be enjoyed and so
many lovely deserts to just about finish your
taste buds off. Dining in Budapest will also give
you the opportunity to explore there local wines.
Hungary has 20 wine producing districts which
make a wide selection of wines. It is possible
to visit these vineyards and do some wine tasting
whilst enjoying the beautiful landscapes that
they are grown from.
When paying in a restaurant your bill will not
include any service charge. Therefore it s customary
to leave a tip approximately 10 to 15 percentage
of the total bill. The currency of Hungary is
in a unit called the Hungarian Forint HUF abbreviated
to Ft.
