Aegean, because of its volcanic peaks.
Rumour has it, that it holds the key to the lost
city of Atlantis. Weather you believe this or
not it doesn’t change the fact that Santorini
serves as a beautiful and wonderful holiday island.
Beaches in Santorini – Greece
The beaches in Santorini offer water sports of
all kinds for the more active holiday maker. If
you prefer to relax on your holidays then the
beaches offer the clearest waters and due to the
past volcanic activity the sands are amazingly
coloured. Just off the beaches you will find seafront
places to chill out and shops to browse when the
heat of the summer sun becomes too much. The beaches
are clean and safe for the whole family. In fact
the whole of Greece received blue flags for 383
of their beaches in 2005.
Kamari beach has an impressive long again black
sandy beach. Rising form the sea is a huge rock
called Mesa Vouno. Faclities such as sunbeds,
umbrellas and water sports are availbale for hire
off the beach.
Holiday Nightlife in Santorini
The Island of Santorini offers a really good
nightlife. Image your holiday watching some traditional
Greece folk dancing whilst listening to bouzouki
music.

There are also night clubs and bars to occupy
into the night, and lovely places to eat, some
restaurants even look out over the cliffs so you
can watch the setting sun over the waters below.
