Beaches in Kafalonia - Greece

Considered the most famous beach in Kefalonia is Myrto s’ with its wonderful golden sands and vertical rocky cliffs. It’s a favourite with tourists and the locals as well as the travel magazines and the most photographed beach in Greece. Myrto beach is consistently voted one of the most beautiful and wins many awards for its attractiveness. There is also the beach of Poros perfect for swimming and snorkelling.

Eating Out in Kefalonia - Greece

Wide selections of foods are available in Kefalonia ranging from traditional Greek meals to Chinese, Indian and Souvlaki bars. Much a vast number of places to eat out are available. If you are looking for traditional Geek food, then it serves to observe where the locals seem to dine. In regards of tipping a cover charge is added to the bill which covers the cost of laying the table, bread and the service. This will usually be around one to two euros and sometimes includes a small portion of tzatziki.
