When to Book Holidays to Gambia

The best time to book you Gambia holiday its best to miss that rainy season. So its best to book to travel between the months of December and February. On the up side to not avoiding that rainy season is that you will avoid the crowds.

Gambia s International airport is 15 miles from Banjul (the capital of Gambia). A taxi service is availably to transfer you from Banjul city centre to the airport, which takes around half an hour. If you do decide to holiday to Gambia its best to obtain traveller cheques or change up some cash into Gambia ‘s currency before your get there. Although currency can be changed at a bureau de change at Banjul International Airport, the commission rate tends to be pretty high. As for ATM machines, some larger places do have them but they can be a little bit unreliable so beware.
