The best beach in Gran Canaria has to be the four miles of beach called Maspalomas. Along the beach are massive Sahara like dunes. Capital of Gran Canaria – Las Palmas

With great shopping opportunities the capital city of the island is Las Palmas located in the north-east of the island. You can fly from most international UK airports into Gran Canaria s main airport near to Las Palmas. Flight time should take approximately four hours.

It too has some perfect beaches to forget those nine to five worries on. If you don’t feel like holidaying in the only city on the island that delivers that hustle and bustle feeling that bigger cities then simple visit Las Palmas for a day trip. There are monuments and museums an history to discover if you can drag your selves of the sun struck beaches.
