Bali is an ideal destination for the whole family because of the wealth of activities on offer to you to fill your sun filled days. Golf, white water rafting or kayaking down the Ayung River, Scuba Diving and obviously surfing to name just a handful. And you can enjoy them all with all year round temperatures around 20 to 30 degrees Celsius.

Surfing in Bali

The most favored surfing conditions are said to be between June and September, although the beaches will become more crowded. The most commonly known surf spot in Bali is Uluwatu, Kuta and Bulkit surf beach. There are beaches suited to the most hard core of surfer and also waves for the beginner to learn the ropes.

There’s a lot of choice of activities to choose from when the sun goes down in Bali. Ranging from a quieter intermit dinner to the more lively night clubs. The restaurants are not expensive and food to suit every palette. It even has two cinemas!

Traveling to Bali and Getting About

When traveling to Bali you will find that it’s listed on the boards by its capitals name which is Denpasar. There’s lots of ways to get around Bali, some slower and more uncomfortable than others. Taking public transport can take you any where but expect it too take a little while. Bali’s roads can become over crowded in the more heavily populated locations. It seems that walking is the easiest way of getting around and the most convenient.

Renting a Car in Bali

If you are thinking about renting your own transport then you will need an international driving license as well a valid license from your home country. When driving, be aware that the rules of the road aren’t as well stuck to than probably the roads back home. Red lights may not necessary mean read. Traffic may switch lanes without indication as a lot of the roads have a sharing lanes policy. So it’s best to be super alert and vigilant at all time

Not only is the island of Bali its self a perfect destination for your holiday.
But the locals are really friendly and will make your holiday one to remember.
